You don't need to unplug anything to change hoods. Just remove the heat blanket, disconnect the wiper fluid nozzles, remove 4 bolts (2 each side). Then put the metal lock thingy in the front from the old hood onto the new one and do the previous steps in reverse order Just make sure you have enough space to put your car and 2 hoods and take your time to do the alignment before you slam it down
