Hi Guys

Can you please give me some advice. I had my first service on my 2015 mustang GT in January since then I have noticed my coolant has started to go a watery milky brown cooler (I think it was pink before) i…..I’m worried as looking around the web, people are saying it could be the head gasket which is not good at all?

Could you please have a look at the pic below and let me know if I worrying for nothing or do I need to get it into the garage quickly.

Thanks in advance. Alan

just quickly to check take oil fill cap off and run your finger around the inside under the lip edge of where the cap goes in.

Get that looked at ASAP. Get Ford to arrange recovery from your Ford assist. To be on the safe side ;)

That's sure as heck not right... maybe another faulty oil cooler like Gibbo205 had, or worse... Get ford on the hook for it asap.

Speaking of which, i'll check my coolant when I get home.

Looks like water and oil mixing. Suffice to say, that ain't kosher. Good just be the beginning of a major problem.

Probably another leaky oil cooler.

Seen a few times on the forum now.

Don't stress it mate, you've got a bumper to bumper 60k mile/36 month warranty. Be firm on the level of courtesy car though if your Mustang is off the road for a while, try and get another Mustang or a RS.

If this is a cooler fault, which seems likely, is the replacement cooler upgraded to eliminate this from reoccurring??:confused:

Thinking it might be worth fitting one to stop this from happening:thumbsup:

Definitely worth swapping once the fault is diagnosed, those stock fish bowls look horrid

When I replaced mine and changed the coolant, according to the temp gauge, my car now runs cooler.

I've had a replacement oil cooler and that's the same colour tank as mine. I initially thought it was thought it was the head gasket, and so did the AA man.
