Mines pretty much bang on the same, when you're on a motorway reset it and watch those figures climb!

I just did 5 miles at 39.8 but I wasn't able to get a picture as it fell quickly as I got off the motorway

I'm averaging 18.6 smiles per mile

Got my car all warmed up, reset for a 5mile sting, got 47.5, then a GTR (brand new red '17 plate) pulled behind me and wanted me to rev, loved the car (and loved his too), ended up driving up and down the roads back home practically together lol - Car friends :thumsup:

Coming back from getting it serviced, Perth (Friarton Br) to Dundee (Ninewells) on cruise set to 70 and change - 33.2mpg. It's managed 34 in the past but it's just too boring to try. Overall the 80 mile trip which involved several miles through Dundee including a couple of dozen roundabouts and the junction from hell (to Forfar) in both directions returned 27mpg which I think is decent for a 5.0.

Well since I picked up my GT V8 auto on 13th April I've found it real easy to average 25 mpg but then I just want to drive it without bothering about the mpg so that's what I'm going to do from now on - love it

I averaged 29.3 MPG in 1200 miles around Scotland not driving sensible all of the time either had it fishtailing a couple of scary times as well

Brought my total average up over 25. I'll have to sort that out

Some gobshite at work thought the v8 was nothing more than a yank gas guzzler. Well , had to try this again just to shut the f*cker up !

To Leicester and back I wasn't really trying and was playing about a bit. I'll give it another go when I'm back off work (Mustang GT)

Hmm bloody file didn't attach it was 26.7 mpg over 4 hours

Pro tactic:

1) Drive car to warm
2) hit 50-60mph
3) reset as driving
4) Big numbers ;)!


Over the weekend since filling up (nearly 200 miles) I've average 35.7, but that's involved a lot of motorway driving, and driving slowly for the photoshoot filming.

Grilles really make the car look that much meaner, looks good when you see the lines coming down from the hood and following through the grilles, stanginator, that's new! Copying [MENTION=14613]SteveS[/MENTION] was it who had one? !

Steve and Henry (Sudan) have got them, I've had it for about 10 months or so, ideal opportunity with the front end off to have it done. I'm a wee bit exited to get it back
