I lowered my car with the sp080 kit springs today. Everything was great for the first 50 miles. Now I'm getting a squeaking kind of noise from the passenger side front spring/strut assembly. But it's only when I turn the wheel. is it the bumpstop? Has anybody else had this happen? It's annoying. Thanks for the help

It happened to me at one point. I believe it was rubber spring isolator binding slightly when turning wheel. I just drove normally and it disappeared one day and never came back.

That's exactly what it sounds like. Almost like the tire is scrubbing but it's not

Mine does this too almost sounds like the upper strut bearing has a problem. I noticed the rubber isolator is torn. ill wait it out for now.

Well I went outside this morning,cranked er up, and cut the wheel back and forth like crazy until it stopped. Drove it another hundred miles today and it didn't make a sound. So I'm guessing it worked itself out

Having this exact problem on stock suspension. It randomly just started happening. What do you mean by u cut the wheel back and forth?

It seems to only happen when I'm turning left.

Check the both of the small dust shields that sit just behind the back side of the rotor. They are very thin and flexible. More than likely, one of them got bent and was/is making contact with the backside of the rotor.

Cut = turned.
Exactly...when it started to quieten down from in the cab I got my wife to turn the steering wheel back and forth while I listened to the wheel well and it tapered off then quit completely. I drove it all day yesterday and never heard it again so maybe it'll go away for you guys too

May need to reassemble the strut with a new bearing on top. Sounds like the bearing bound up.
