I posted this on FB... Funny story from today

Story of the day:
Went to Halfords to pick up some spray cans for a secret project, and as I was walking over to pay a random was talking to the store clerk at the till. The conversation went like this:
Clerk: "that your car?"
Guy: "the mustang? No."
Clerk: "Nice ain't it?"
*clerk spots keys in my hand as the guy responds*
Guy: "nah I think mustangs are sh!t"
Me: "Really?"
Guy: "Yeah rubbish cars"
Me: "funny that, that's my car"
Guy now is bright red. Store clerk is trying to keep a straight face.
Guy: "oh errr"
Me: "and what do you drive?"
Guy: "a Japanese imported....pauses (expecting him to say a mr2 turbo or some jap ricer car)... Toyota Yaris."
Me: "Well I had one as my first car you go and have fun in that"
Clerk is now unable to hold in his laughter
Guy exits.
Clerk: "he timed that badly, made my day, love the car go embarrass him".
Which led to a nice symphony of revs. Thank heck the exhaust is changed

Was some worries on FB earlier within the group buy I did of people worrying if he wouldnt cover the cars - Greg soon shut them up lol

Love that! Would love to know why the guy thought they were rubbish? #jealous! Probably the old "can't go round corners, can they" bullshit that I'm tired of hearing :lol:

finished off with a Steeda custom tune with the SCT4 which i can also do some datalogging., and what a difference it makes unleashing the ecoboost with appox 30HP and 80lb Torque. it maybe a conservative tune but i do like it

I would really like to find some that size or bigger to replace the 5.0 badges but curved to match the contour of the car. Do you have any sense about if those could be bent without breaking?
