Clay, Collinite 845, Meguires Gold Class Carnauba Plus

So I'm not understanding why you used Collinite 845 and then the Meguires? They are both carnauba waxes? Why not just two coats of one or the other? Car looks great, just curious.

I was using meguires glaze then wax, but picked up collinite 845 to try out. Results....i really like the collinite for ease of getting luv bugs off so will continue to use for that nonstick, but will finish with meguires for that deep wet look I like.

I could be wrong but I understood the Collinite to be a longer lasting product and have read several threads with folks putting a softer, richer wax on top. Thought I'd give it a try.

I just returned from a 3600 mile road trip and haven't done anything other than wash the car. Still beads up like crazy!
