Just curious if anyone has done it after purchase. That and the enhanced security package are the only things I miss from my 15.

yours doesn't have it already? I just have a PP 2016 GT and mine seems to have the auto-dim feature.

Its standard..op, look into your rear view mirror after youve just placed full window visors to block light. The mirror should auto dim. Not sure where sensor is but if you can cover it the mirror should dim.

It doesn't look like the mirror in my 15. It's just a thin piece of plastic on the back. I don't think I saw any wires either. I'll have to check.

Auto dim mirros have a small plastic window for the sensor.
Otherwise, you will have a flip down toggle for night driving.

Good point. I guess I was expecting to see a sensor on the mirror face like some cars. Don't remember what the other mirror looked like exactly

Auto-dim mirror is standard. I got the security package too and I love it. I mostly got it so I could leave my carry firearm in the center console and not worry about it. The sensors are really sensitive too. My dog will set them off when I leave him in the car(in the coolers months for a short period of time) if I forget to turn them off. I've also tried locking the car with the windows down. Alarm will go off if you reach your arm in.

Would be great to have control back on the rear view mirror. I get dimming with front sunvisors but never on brightness from behind. My wife's Mkz is the same..what gives Ford? ..the return of the control toggle would be great.
