Was a Note7 guy. Hated to give that phone up. Got the 425.00 off from Samsung and the free 360 camera.

It should be here on the 14th.

I optd for the memory card and the wireless charging. I noticed it says "By the 14th" when ordering. Hopefully sooner!! I thought I read somewhere one of the major carriers is gonna be releasing it on the 5th or something close to that.

wow now tmobile says they give a free note 8 when u buy a note 8. i think only catch is both phones need to be active for 2 years.

I had a note 3 and 5. I always got the notes for their power and larger screen. Never used the stylus. Currently using an S8+. Only complaint about the phone is the autocorrect is horrid. Doubt I'll make the switch back unless the notes start coming with something I want.

One camera is wide angle and the other is fixed 2x zoom from what I understand

FYI for others considering the phone, my retailmenot coupon code appears to have worked and I am getting the additional $30 off. So 300 trade in, 60 off for student and 30 off from RMN. not too shabby i guess

i saw on reddit that multiple people are reporting shipping notices from samsung already. supposedly best buy will not release any phone ordered from them prior to 9/15

I've been using my Note 8 since the 12th. However one bad thing about it is that as of right now it doesn't work with Android Auto. I've tried several settings and different cables. :-(

With the current draw possible with the new usb-c, I wonder if the ungraded usb port required for the apple is now something we need? I now have the 8, LOVE the damn thing, the cameras, speed, display, all top notch. I still have to get my car out of hibernation to check out the android auto.

My note 8 has worked with android auto since the first day I got it. You have to use a decent cable.

Having Google Maps disabled on the Note was my issue. Once I enabled it, all was good.
