OK, I'm going to ask a really stupid question, but none the less, better to ask than to assume.......

"Parking" light = "side" light?

Exactly, "parking light" = small square light next to the turn signal

It will be interesting to see if SWMBO notices the change - she claims not to be a Petrol Head, but I changed the "Start" button to the GT350 one, she spotted it with seconds of getting into the car............

No, those are fog lights with a DRL inside!

But Michael Scott has made his own RGB fogs, that you can set to any colour and are LED, they are awesome!

I saw the images with the white "parking light" and wondered if these were always on when not indicating and whether you could just remove the drl bulb?

No, this light only comes on when you switch to sidelights or headlights.
When you are in "DRL" mode, they are off.

What is the link to RGB Fogs? Are they better than the DD option RGB Bulbs & Controller?
