today as t drove my 2017 gt350 into the barn I had the window down and could plainly here a squealing sound above the engine noise. it did not change pitch when I revved the engine. So raised the hood hoping to locate a vicinity of the noise. it was not at front thinking cooling fan bearing. In fact you could hear it better standing by drivers door than at the front. Then it stopped. Are there any cooling pumps that run when warm then shut off after a cool down? My guess on location was low under the car not in engine compartment and not the interior.help :shrug::frusty:

if it did not change pitch with revs it must be an electrical engine of some sort...not a belt or something like that.
I would keep a ear out for it, if it becomes louder, take it in to Ford.

I never heard it in my car to be honest... If you could replicate it and record it , I would be interested to hear it.

Fuel pump, maybe? I've had cars in the past that have a really loud pump - especially if fuel level in tank is low.
