Atlanta Motorsports Park | March 12, 2017 | JZilla Track Days "Death of Winter" HPDE

I am trying to put the bennies :help: together to attend this event myself.

Above is the JZilla schedule for 2017. I know I'm going to hit a Road Atlanta event - I have been studying that track as it looks f'ing awesome to drive.

JZilla is just one of many track day groups. This one seems to be a little more grassroots, but I can't speak from experience with other groups. Instructors volunteer and my last instructor was very helpful. You get lunch... :clap2:

I may sign up for it. I am only about 10 minutes from AMP, and I have been wanting to go back since I ran there in September.

What day were you there in September? I think September is when I last went, too.

I ran with Jzilla back in June at Road Atlanta. Seemed like a good group of guys. I'll be at Road Atlanta with NASA-SE the following weekend(March 18-19).

I just registered for this. Looks like I'll be putting the stock catback on due to noise restrictions...

Apparently I barely pass the noise meter with my exhaust. I let me rear seats down to let more exhaust noise in, which I like.

There was a GT500 the last time I was there that was exceptionally loud. I don't know if he got the dunce cap or what. But if you set off the alarm they tell you to let off in that area.

I haven't paid yet but looking like I'm in, too. Will be great to meet you.

I'm not even going to take the chance. I'd rather spend an hour swapping it out than cause issues.

Trying out Jzilla for the first time at Road Atlanta in June. Would be there this weekend with yall but it was fully by the time I could get $$$ together. Good luck!

Will be great to see an EB perform at the track. I suspect you will do better than most might suspect, being 200 lbs. lighter to start!

That said, AMP is certainly a better match for an EB. More tight-technical, not necessarily as fast. Doesn't matter, though. Just get yourself to AMP sometime.

I'll probably make the Jzilla event as well. I'm planning on attending the NASA event that weekend and may try to make a 3 day out of it.

What JZilla event are you talking about? AMP this weekend (12th), or Road Atlanta on June 16th?

FYI: Supposed to rain in the AM at AMP this weekend.
