Put some fuel in her and drove her for once... Planning on letting her stretch out a little tomorrow on a decent trip to a family picnic. Gotta do something to make it worth looking forward to...

Installed Ford Performance by Borla Sport cat back. Just what the doctor ordered.

Finally got around to installing my Ford Performance by Borla Sport cat back. The sound change in sport mode alone was well worth it. Cold starts are a little louder, but after warming up, the sound in normal mode is somewhat deeper, but still has that original Shelby sound. Wide open throttle in sport is another world altogether. Listening to the Shelby without any exhaust and just factory headers and cats is insane.

Factory exhaust removed, only factory headers and cats.

This was a great mod. Big shout out to Grimace 427, he is a great guy
and very knowledgeable as well. Thank you.

Ordered Redline hood struts and Steeda Jacking Rails.
Drove her and met up with some of the Houston Shelby Club guys at Twin Peaks.

Had a follow-up visit from the Xpel guy. He was out a few weeks ago and did the install at my place, but unfortunately, my friend who drops by all the time with a white german shephard left a little gift.... under the film right on the nose, of all places.

Amazing thing about Xpel, though, is that it can be lifted and re-applied... at least for a little while. Not sure if having been out in the sun would have made a difference, but given that it's March in the midwest, that wasn't happening anyway.

Here's the pic.... hahahahahahahahahahah, thanks Duke!

Very nice - love that color combination and will look great on your car. No kidding, though, it's a 5 minute install at best.

Is the scratch on the film or on the paint and then film applied over it? If so, it suck.

I'm hoping it is a piece of the dogs fur...
Yep - dog hair... from my friend's 100 lb. white German Shepard.

All gone now and the ppf looks great - even had him add protection to the lower door jamb / scuff plate area and ppf door edge guard.

I find MY hair in everything...when we vacuume the house every week, in the canister there is a cylinder full of it. I don't know where the hell it comes from. Must be from my ass and back ;)

I was gonna do this yesterday but did it this am. Just had to remove the rubber grommets from the old ones and place on the new. I think it looks damn good and brightens up the bay. I forgot about needing to shrink up my catch can lines.

These are ox white, lightning blue lettering with red stripes.
