Mustang GT PP vrs bmw 1M.

On a closed road went against a freinds bmw 1m he claims the car is stock. But he is the second owner to the car i tell him maybe the first owner modded the ecu cause it was a close race.
What are yoyr thoughts on that car my car started waliking away from him till the the top of 4th gear.
