Sup guys. New here. I'd had an extended cab 09 Silverado 1500 for about 6 years, heavily modded 5.3L/4speed, intake, headers, cammed and stalled with gears and custom tune but was lifted 4.5" on 33" mud tires. All of that equals, a very loud but still slow full size truck. Traded it in for a 13 Accord Sport in January but that wasn't cutting it so I traded that in for a base model 16 Ruby Red GT about 3 weeks ago. It was otherwise factory when I bought it other than a muffler delete axle-back, black emblems and black Roush lip spoiler (I guess is what it's called)
So here we are, a few weeks after owning it. I couldn't keep it as stock for long, so what I've done thus far is:
- 1" hub-centric wheel spacers
- Diode Dynamics switchback kit up front
- 40% windshield tint/5% brow/25% sides
- VLEDs 194 LEDs in the map lights
Plans for when the warranty runs out are
- JLT intake and Lund tune
- 315s for the rear
- some sort of catback exhaust with offroad xpipe and 4" tips
- BBK LT headers with catted mid-pipes
- GT350 intake manifold but retain factory throttle body
Other than that, just driving this thing is good enough for me. It's such a fun car even stock.
Will upload pics shortly!
