I curbed my front passenger wheel and was wondering if it's worth getting the wheel and tire repaired, or if I'll need a new wheel/tire.

This girl in front of me slammed on the brakes because she thought someone was crossing the cross walk so I went onto the curb avoiding hitting her car.

That looks like an EASY fix. Definitely don't need a new wheel. Unless your looking for justification to get new wheels...then I'd say it's totaled and you need to replace all four just to be safe. :)

I'd say the tire is not repairable. It looks like the sidewall is cracked or torn. Not sure about the wheel.

Tire is trash.
Contact a mobile wheel repair technician.
$175-225.

I didn't see the other pictures at first. I thought it was just the curb rash. In the last picture the wheel looks bent. I don't think a mobile wheel technician can fix that. With that said, you can take it to a wheel repair specialist for a quote. It actually might be more cost effective to replace the wheel.

Definitively get a quote first before you order a new one though. Some places even allow you to email/text pictures to get a quote.

If the wheel is bent, best bet is to buy a replacement. If it's just a gouge, it can be fixed easily. A place by me would run about $175 to get it fixed.

Didn't see other pictures either...obvious now that rim is slightly bent.
Wheel straightening shop should able to repair or recommend replacement.
Safety first!

It looks like the spoke just to the left of the hit is cracked?
Also, check the inside of the wheel as well, ill bet that took some damage as well.

I'd replace it, and the tire is totally shot.

The wheel is out of round...suggests a fairly hard hit. Have the alignment checked.

TBH I would just replace it. Looks like it was a pretty nasty hit. I bet there's more damage than you can actually see once you pull the tire off. I would get with NFS to see if he can work something out with you.
