-Post #11 | 4K Video update! Track Wheels Mounted & Balanced
-Post #13 | JMS PowerMAX & JMS PedalMAX + New Pictures

What's up guys!

I should've started this thread a while ago, but I guess it's better late than never. I'm going to be adding/doing a lot of big things with my s550 in the near future so it will get fun. I also post a bunch of Mustang stuff on YouTube so if you can handle a crazy person you should consider checking out my channel (link in my signature).

The goal with my s550 as of right now is to build a great all around car that I can daily without being miserable. I'm going to be tracking the car and want it to perform well at the drag strip as well on the road course. While, I don't have a ton of experience with either of these, especially road course, it will be fun documenting my progress.

Spoiler Alert! Forced induction is happening very soon. ;)

Current Modifications:

Performance-
-Corsa Xtreme Cat-Back Exhaust System
-Barton Hybrid 3 Short Shifter (body mounted)
-BMR SP080 Springs
-BMR Cradle Lockout Kit
-Steeda Vertical Links
-Steeda Front & Rear Sway Bars

Appearance-
-Ford Racing Decklid Panel
-ROUSH Extractors
-ZL1AddOns Rock Guards
-MotoTech 25MM Spacers Front
-MotoTech 23MM Spacers Rear
-BlackVue DR650S-2CH Dash Cam (front/rear)
-Diode Dynamics Goodies

Not Pictured-

Anyways, here are some pictures to start and I'll be updating the thread with a ton of new mods very soon!

Jeff Ashton back with another video!...err post I guess in this case. (Sorry I couldn't help myself) Love the car man. I am really looking forward to seeing how fast you can go with a car that can be used on the road course or a dragstrip. I am sure lots of people on this forum have done this but they won't have the video's from you and/or the ML crew covering it.

Get Scooter to give you some tips on the road course...he seems like a pretty skilled driver out there. Don't tell him I said that. We don't want his head to get any bigger! :)

Update!

Here are my JMS track wheels in 17x10 and 17x4.5. I'm in love with the black/diamond cut finish and just felt it was a nice change up from all of the black chrome setups.

I decided to pair the rims with some Mickey Thompson ET Street R bias-bly tires and Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires. The rear tires are 28x11.5x17 and the fronts are 28x6x17, which should be a killer combo with the Whipple. I was torn about pairing a radial front with the bias-ply rear, because of sway, but after speaking with a few people that run this same tire setup I don't anticipate any issues.

Anyways here are some pictures! They'll be mounted and balanced here shortly so I'll keep you guys updated.

Update along with some new pictures!

I just received my BMR SP089 front springs and will be installing them to offset the additional weight added from the Whipple. I haven't installed them yet, but here are some pictures with my current BMR SP080 setup.

In addition my Whipple setup is set to ship on Tuesday!

The Whipple install will likely be starting on Wednesday. I'll update the thread with some unboxing and install pictures once it gets underway!

I'm curious on what you have to grind down on the calipers.

I ended up deciding against it. I realized I would have to grind more off than I initially anticipated.

I'm searching for a lighter 6-piston setup that will save some weight and clear my track wheels. In the meantime, I'm going to stay with my current brakes since I won't be tracking the car until I have my new clutch, driveshaft, and half shafts.

I also have an extra set of four piston GT brakes too.
