So some of you know i made a boo boo and thought i starved the engine of oil ?! Well i got it out and torn down, much to my surprise all the bearings looks new ! Have not pulled the pump yet just cracked caps. But i did find a broken oil squirter and some mystery plastic pieces. Maybe someone here can help me locate where it lives

Weird. I just had mine torn down and I can't think of anything that looked like that. Is it hard plastic or mushy? My only remote guess is the sensor that sits in the oil pan intact?

Stock chain guides are black-colored.

I think they are talking about the plastic part where the chain makes contact with the guides. That part I don't believe is black, on mine they were sort of clear colored.

How did the secondary chain tensioners look? Are they plastic pieces for sure?

Wonder how that broke off? Something would have had to tag it.

Yup, that was my guess. Did you knick it with the oil drain for the turbo? It is a weird thing to fail.

Ya and how did it make it past the windage tray and break off the #8 piston squirter ?

I just stopped home and took a pic of my pan, definitly where it came from.
