The Last Guard

Eight months to the day, I picked up my GT this morning, one of the last made in Guard. Looks stunning in today's sunshine.
I appear to be lucky in terms of panel alignments, rear windows, etc. A few pix attached - more to come.
I got a nice bag of freebies too (two key rings, baseball cap, mug, and lapel pin!) - Think Ford Guildford (Karina) have done an excellent job.
The car is presently being upgraded at TVR101 (Borla axle-back and a couple of other touches). And then off to the Hindhead Tunnel.
So far, it's been a very good day, though I say so myself.

Thanks [MENTION=21107]Wobs[/MENTION] - yes, all three of us are now on terra firma in UK. It's funny/odd to see an idea slowly become real and 'suddenly' (after 8 months) physically there in front of you.
Yes, I'm currently in a lovely pub opposite TVR101 and sporting a secret smile (little do the other clientele know that, beneath my meek exterior is concealed a superpower of immeasurable strength - well, 416 bhp strength)

Gratz mate, looking good, hope to see It at some meets - I test drove a guard mustang in the states, haven't seen one in the UK since!

You do realise that guard is the fastest colour don't you.....

Car looks great. Guard is a beautiful colour. No idea why they discontinued it.
