Ignore the garage Queens. I'm putting on 30k a year and got the extended warranty from flood Ford. Sell the daily and enjoy driving. Couldn't do my daily commute in a boring car. Drove a Lexus for a few months while waiting on my order and I thought I was going to kill people.

Mine is nine months old and has 7k mikes and its not a DD. I'm trying to figure how I've put that many miles on it already. Other than one road trip that was around 2,400 miles.

24K miles in 16 months. I bought it in April 16 and daily drove it until November, then put it on duty mostly only when the temp was up for summer tire safety, then back on duty full time in April. This year I'm putting all seasons on it in late fall and will daily drive it all winter. If I don't, my truck (150k) won't last until the car is paid off in 4+ years.

Sounds pretty much what happened to me when I got mine. I'm about to crack 23k. 14months ownership -

I got mine last June, had a daily. I put 20K miles on it in one year. I had to go get a more FUN daily to try to keep me out of it. The sound is probably the most intoxicating part about it. Winding those RPMS out, downshifts, ugghhhh...

What gets me is people who have low millage cars that they've owned for over a year and brag about it like it's some sort of trophy. No, you've just been missing out on getting some seat time behind an awesome car. I've done it all in my car. Track, drag, mountain cruises, commuting and shows. It does them them all very well. :thumbsup:

This;

I can't imagine leaving a great car in the garage and DDing a shit-box. They're cars, machines, meant to be used, and used up. That's why they build more of them.

About 1 year an close to 10K miles.

Oddly, the tires still have a bunch of life left in them.

It would drive me nuts to see it just sitting in the garage all the time.

HELP KEEP THE MUSTANG ALIVE!!!!

Drive the living hell out of them, wear them out, and buy new ones.

Two months and 1500 miles. It's my daily driver but I am retired so I don't anticipate a lot of mileage. I do love driving the Mustang

I did the same thing back in 2000 when I bought my first new car, a GT vert. I went 3,000 miles in 3 weeks, all with the top down (gotta love Texas in March).

This time around I'm older and a bit more laid back. Not a lot of miles, but I LOVE driving it!
