Hey everyone,
I want to share my experience installing my Mantic Series 9000 Cerametallic Clutch. Overall, the install was not as difficult as I expected it to be. Going in I felt I should have a professional install this twin disk unit. However, I came to find that the install was pretty easy!

This was my first time dropping a transmission and the first clutch install I ever did too. The directions from Mantic are pretty straight forward. Everything for the install comes with the kit: Flywheel (with bolts) New Slave, Clutch Assembly, Pressure plate, etc.. Following their torque specs for the install it all went in pretty fast! I would recommend sourcing a torque wrench that measures in Newton Meters for the pressure plate install.

Check out the video below that shows the steps we took to install the Mantic Clutch!

I haven't noticed anything like that. I've seen 3 MT-82 cars with this clutch in person and they handle everything perfect

according to yolo youtube he says the mantic or RST are good for the MT82. hard engaging clutches like the rxt is the problem from what i understood from him

I'm guessing this clutch is more forgiving due to it being a sprung hub vs unsprung like the RXT. I saw the video and it seems like a very nice clutch.

When my clutch is due, this is my number one choice.....well the one I'm choosing I should say. Haven't finalized if it will be the ceramitallic or the organic version of the 9000. Either way, looking forward to the project when mine starts giving out. Thanks for the video.

Hard to justify the nearly double-RST price tag for me

That case tho

If you want to save your current transmission it is worth every penny.
I would think a 2k clutch is cheaper than a new transmission. An RST clutch would work well too, if the 2K is steep and I agree it is a lot of money. But, you do get what you pay for.

It's expensive but after seeing it I can't go with anything else. Ill pull it out and have it put in my casket.
