I have a Mishi tube, to be frank I did not think much too it. I think all it does is shift the power curve or add a bit torque down low, the result was the car felt flat up top with it, probably was not but I prefer the car to accelerate in a linear fashion.

In flow testing, compared to stock it seems around 0.2-0.4lbs less than the stock tube, in short I think it does little to nothing, so I removed it too.

Be interesting to hear your feedback on what you think before/after the mishi tube.
I found the same for the most part already in my back to back data logs. Acceleration was the same from 30 to 70 MPH and identical airflow.

Yes I did 0-100mph testing:
Mishi 10.6-10.9s
stock 10.5-10.8s

Really no change at all it seemed, hard to be consistent with a manual though, auto is more consistent and faster for testing mods.

Does the maf flow really make a difference in terms of power correlation. My tune is way stronger with 44lb/min vs when it has a few lbs higher on a dif tune

If MAF is tuned correctly then yes, more MAF means more power.

When I asked my tuner about importance of maf flow his comment was "Yes maf lbs matters, It depends on how things are set up though. I gave your car exactly what it wanted and it is happy. Don't read to much into the numbers."

Which I guess why some here feel other tunes they had felt stronger with a lower maf number.

First time logging after getting a Steeda CAI intake and tune. Only other mod is Solo Mach XV catback. Just curious why I'm seeing values much lower than everyone in this thread? I'm in Phoenix, AZ with DA around 2080 this morning.

I saw a max of 45.99 lb/min on a Lund FF tune with only JLT intake and Gibson catback.

Hi there

Car is back to stock, so back to optimising the stock air box.
- 44.77lbs flow: Stock air box modified, K&N Filter, Carbon trap removed, sound tube delete, velossa, honey comb delete and Lund tune. UK car so RHD headers with limited flow!

when you mention stock airbox modified what exactly did you do to it?

Car now maxes the MAF PID at 6000RPM, that's down from 6700ish. Added B302 intake to my Paxton. It's gud.
