Recaro's are still standard, Convenience Pack replaces them w/heated & cooled regular seats

Your guess is as good as mine, maybe they're talking about soft-touch door panels like in the Premier trim?

Well damn, I'm sure for 99.9% of GT350 buyers, this is awesome news. I really wanted the base model car though. I would never track the car to need trans and diff cooling, and it seems like the consensus on the base car suspension is more than adequate for the average joe.

I'm just speculating because they are basically making the track pack standard now.

well after the 1LE talk, they might want to keep it a great deal and not raise the base price. that would 1up the 1LE before it even gets started.

Looks like they are coming around to putting trans and differential coolers on all cars.
Looking forward to see what comes out in the way of factory kits.
They should have had the coolers on all trims from the start! Looks like I'm holding off for a 17

Well on the bright side my base model 16 will be extremely rare.

the optioning just got a HELL of a lot better. Now you can get most of the 2016 Tech components without losing the recaros by getting a 2017 GT350 Electronic.

Yeah maybe you're right, but now i' m debating if i should cancel my order or not. But then again i don't want the base price to increase by 5K !!!!!
Also they'll have this new blue color that i like. Oh man .....

Why they won't drop an option for an amazing stereo setup with quality speakers eludes me. The person that will drop money on a car like this does not want to spend another 3k on speakers and crap, along with the time and effort of an install. The system in my car is wonderful except for the lame speakers. I don't want to pull the entire car apart to put new ones in. My 1967 Mustang with Jensen triaxisials and an 8~track sounded better.
