Yep like my reply on your other post, that would translate into a $68K base Shelby for us Canucks plus of course $1650 dest/prep.

Now is the time to order your base '16 Shelby at MSRP .
It is definitely crossing my mind at this point...although, truth be told, I'd rather have a TP equipped car. Which in turn, would make more sense (to me, anyway) to wait on a 2017 where those bits are standard...and get Grabber Blue in the process.

If I wasn't building a house ATM, I would have an easier time making a decision...and not going into debt, Haha.

The real kick in the pants (a true first world problem) is I like a lot of different cars from a lot of different manufacturers. At the $70K mark...that opens up a hell of a lot of choices...

...not to mention I'm a real cheap ass.

Understand, but the new "base" car will essentially be a 15/16 track pack car as it sits today. Not sure why ford would throw away 3k in pure profit when there have been zero issues selling them at the current price. Dealers will by default add 3k ADM and say its the same car as the MY16 and use the excuse that MY17 is the last of them.
I doubt Ford is throwing any money away as they sell at dealer invoice...they don't give two craps about what dealers charge for them.

I think the new colors and added track features as standard is awesome. I was really upset I couldn't have both. My concern now lies in the fact that the dash and toggle switches isn't that awesome brushed black color in those thumbnails.

Maybe by MY2017 the dealers will stop with the stupid ADM's.

Honestly, the only thing I'd want is the toggle switches. And maybe Ruby Red. I'm still happy with my choice though. Curious to see the price difference.

No...I think its base 49,XXX plus 3,500...?? but maybe you are right !!
A '17 base is a '16 track pack. So you're saying Ford is going to sell the same car next year for $3,000 cheaper? It doesn't make any sense Ford would do this, especially since demand exceeds supply for this car. There is also typical price bumps from year to year in models where there are no changes from one model year to the next. I can't see Ford selling what is in essence a current track pack car $3000 cheaper next year....just makes no sense? We shall see.

I'm not too familiar with the toggle switches. How does this differ from selecting the mode on the steering wheel?

Adding the coolers and Magneride to all cars in the lineup may decrease the $6500 track pack costs some. Maybe $1-2K less.

Just can't get enuff!
My guesstimate is the MY2017 base starts at $52,795... + $900 dest charge... + $1300 GGTax = $54,995

So the calls from dealers have started. I've heard from 3 dealers in Texas today who have '16s in stock or en route. I didn't speak with them, I just got voicemails. I blew them off months ago due to ADMs of $10K-$40K.

FWIW find out what they 'want' for it now...

Good news on the options, we will have to see where we end up on price once Ford releases that information. I am happy that I was forced into waiting one more year, the '17's look sweet

I just got a call from a dealer wanting to sell his AG Tech Pack car. $10k ADM, which he said they just raised and he thought was low. Broke it to him that MSRP deals are appearing with increasing frequency, and told him what we're seeing as potential for MY17 - of course, he knew nothing about it, but dealers are usually the last to know.
