Even though cars are an expensive hobby, I am sure we all have others. What are yours???

I'll get things started:

1. woodworking. Here are some of my creations:

Love making cutting boards/serving trays. This one was made from scrap wood I found in a parking lot.

Also love making lamps. This is of redwood.

I built a giant jenga. That was last summers wood working project for me. Next summer will be a giant connect four game. When I'm not washing or working on my car, I'm working on the house. There's always something to do. Also, golf, watch all sports and craft beer :D

I collect USGI WWII equipment and weapons (small collection), getting into late 1800s/Western guns now (replicas though, since I try to keep it affordable). Also am a PC gaming nerd and like to play stuff when time permits, which is not often. I am getting into wood-work (furniture building mostly) but have basically run out of space in the rental house to do anything. I've built a 6 foot bar, which was my first big project, complete with LED under shelf lighting and wired in power outlet hookups, and most recently a rustic-styled serving/console table for my girlfriend, which was my first project using a pocket hole jig.

I think this year's winter project will be wiring up under cabinet LEDs for my work bench in the garage, and an ammo can storage rack to get my ammunition off of the floor of our closet.

So I guess I enjoy hands on stuff the most...

A man after my own heart. There's something so rewarding about working with your hands.

I love my Kreg Jig. I've gotten more into gluing lately though.

Woodworking/Home Reno: Mainly furniture and stuff for the house. I built a couple cabinets to replace some I tore down in our kitchen this summer, a bench, and I'm working on a corner desk for our office now. OH and my dad and I built my daughter a playhouse (yea, its really a tiny house) in our backyard. That open part above the porch will be a loft, adding that once the weather warms up down here.

Sport bikes: I still get in a few track days a year

Car shows: Caffeine & Octane, Cars & Coffee, random parking lot meet ups <-- favorite hobby

Mechanic-ing: I also maintain all of our household vehicles. Oil changes & general maintenance on our trucks and *le sigh* rebuilding the motor in my 300zxTT
