By request, a thread for my 3D model renders and 'shops.

The 3D model is a work-in-progresss (WIP). When rendered out of Animation Master, I usually clean it up in Photoshop and to add things I haven't yet modeled. I also call the reworking of an existing image in Photoshop a render or a 'shop. I've made my living in Photoshop for 23 years and I still hate the word "chop" to describe something altered in Photoshop.

Enjoy.

And my first render of the model today, with the front nearly completed:

More to come as I update the model. Anyone with insider info that you'd like to share outside the forum to help me attain more accuracy, PM me.

Awesome work chazcron. Those close ups of the hood really look like actual sheetmetal. Pretty cool.

And this is why I check here several times a day there's always something new.

Great job man. Nothing like 3D renders to bring something to life! Wonder what the people at Ford are thinking when they see this :)

chazcron, to echo everyone's sentiment here.... thank you and these are awesome!

It'll be fun to watch the progress. Be prepared to take some requests for different colors ;)

Great job, but that's not the hood design I am hoping for on the actual car.

chazcron, just curious are you trying to get the general shape down and not try to guess at some of the covered aspects on the hood?

I was hoping that the b&w tape on the hood was covering some vents to give it a little more aggressiveness. What do you think?

EDIT: actually I saw it on your first image that you did in different colors. I'll just let you finish first :p
