Have to relocate the battery and need a new tank but the IAT's are stupid cold with the new tank I drove 30 miles to work and the blower wasn't even warm like before

Any idea on more power? So the CJ CAI, relocate battery, and ice tank where the battery was before? I assume ice tank is routed to the heat exchanger lines?

Yes it is a pita to hook up but I figured everything out used some a/n fittings and all the stock hoses for the whipple .. The intake is HUGE. Words do not describe its 140 mm at the maf and increases no numbers yet I can't wait to go to the track

I would recommend anyone with a whipple to get this tank I didn't think it would work but it was ice cold the other day and it was like 55 degrees ourside

Where did you get the tank? How long does the ice last? Are you in Los Angeles or Louisiana?

EDIT: Watson Racing!

I'm in Louisiana I haven't put ice in it yet.. Would only be for track use anyways .. The tank gets cold with no ice

The heatexchanger temps are that much better with this and just coolant (no ice)? I didn't think just adding more coolant volume would make that huge of a difference.

Surely with such a large 140mm maf tube the streetability is effected in a negative way, such as poorer drive ability compared to the Whipple stock CAI?

Though I bet it will make more power and more importantly run cooler which will help a lot with IATs and cooling for drag racing.

Ok before I was only seeing 88 degrees and it would be cold out now I seen the temp get to 64 degrees that tank is 2.5 gallons compared to the whipple one .. Basically I'm seeing a 9degree difference from ambient temperatures now
