"Lake Erie Ports" cruise 2016

Here is the plan for the planned "Lake Erie Ports" full day cruise.

The date is not fixed yet, current proposal is either April 30th or May 1st, weather dependent.

It starts from Mississauga Rd/401 (the usual Friday night meet's location), some fun roads near Burlington (Snake Rd.) and Hamilton (Sulphur Springs Rd.), then the most winding roads Google Maps could offer (;-)) via Caledonia, Cayuga and Welland towards Lake Erie. The "Port Tour" starts at Port Colborne, along the lake shore through Port Maitland, Peacock Point, Port Dover, Port Ryerse, Turkey Point, Port Rowan, a stopover at Long Point National Park, then Port Burwell, Port Bruce and Port Stanley. The cruise ends in London with dinner (I ended the line at a KEG ;-), but it's a shopping mall with many restaurants). We get home via 401 after the dinner.

The total distance is 532km until London, then another 153km to get home on the 401. The google map time from Mississauga to London is 7 hours and 12 minutes (excluding all stopovers, etc..), If we start at 9am, we will be in London for dinner and be back at home late evening/night.

EDIT: We will stop in Simcoe ~300km en route for gas. PetroCanada Ultra94 is available there...

Yes April 24th is the official Mustang6ix meet. Proposed date for Lake Erie Cruise is either April 30th or May 1st. They are two different events.

2 different events indeed. The meet is on April 24th, the cruise on May 1st (weather permits)
