Every once in a while I shoot a half-decent group with the A17 (Vortex 4-12x44 scope). These all fit inside a 9/16 circle, most shot groups run about double that. 10-meter air rifle target at 50 yards.

Future goal - when I can reliably put 4 out of 5 inside the 6-ring or consistently get groups under 1" (5-ring size) is when I'll move out to 100 yards.

Missing is the 590 cruiser, rem700 sps tactical in 308, and another stripped lower build that's in progress but these get the lion's share of the work so that's why they were around for pictures.

Alcohol, Firearms, you are only missing the tobacco... it looks like you substituted pharmaceuticals instead :D
Haha thanks, unfortunately those are just various generic brands of ibuprofen :ninja:

I'm actually surprised a snus can didn't find its way into one of the pics, there's prob like 20 scattered about that room. I found 4 cans in my desk at work

Family photo day, father and son :D Just picked up the Baby Eagle III in 9mm, very happy with the pistol so far. Had the BE II some years ago as well, like the looks and the feel of the III much better.

Just started selling Firearms in my part time. Picking up a Kimber Stainless Raptor II for 40% off retail. NY is a difficult place to buy and sell.
It's also super illegal if you aren't a licensed FFL, and that's nation-wide. https://www.atf.gov/file/100871/download

My neighbor I've known all my life gave me this for my birthday last week, along with some old reloading stuff he had. .45 Derringer, "Texas Freedom," or some such edition from 1986. Pretty cool, I look forward to the terrible recoil it will most certainly have.

I'm confused how you interpreted that I sell firearms on the side without an FFL? In NY state non the less.

Side note: picked up a Sig P938 for EDC. Shoots very well for such a small pistol. I love it so far.

Looking to buy a Dan Wesson in the near future.

I guess because the legal requirements and overall paperwork/involvement required in getting and properly maintaining FFL status is anything but 'on the side' for most. And in NY state, none the less. Why would you want to subject yourself to that?

A lot of people think it's okay to casually buy guns and sell at a profit unlicensed, not knowing what a huge crime it is to do so.

I know the legal requirements well. Thank you for the free facts chief.

Just picked the guy up a few days ago, Sig MCX 5.56. Pretty stoked. Going to apply for the SBR permit soon.

For another 1911-related matter . . .

I was restocking myself with ammo for the Mini-14 and purely on a whim I picked up a Kimber Two-Tone 1911 in 9mm with a 5" barrel. For being several ounces heavier than my son's XD-S it actually felt lighter and more natural with a nice smooth feel to its operation. I'm thinking real serious about picking it up, so does anybody have any direct personal experience with Kimbers? Supposedly Kimber has made all the extractors internal, which I have rear was a problem in the past.

I'm in NJ, where CC is damn near impossible to get, so I'm specifically looking at the 5". Didn't seem to be a bad price, well under $800, and I'm not looking at starting a big pistol collection.

Kimber has a terrible reputation for servicing it's paltry 12 month warranty. These are not good guns as far as I'm concerned, not worth the price point.
