Hi Guys,

I am looking to buy an GT350, need some help with making the right call.

So some of the options i found.

1) Used - 2016 with 1000 miles, not a track pack for $55,000.
2) Used - 2017 with 1000 miles for $59,000.
3) New - 2017 with NO options for $58,000.
4) New - 2017 with Electronics package for $61,000.

Questions -

Is Used 2016 a good price? it doesn't come with track package, i don't track my cars so does it matter if i want to track?

Is Used 2017 worth the extra 4 grand?

Is New 2017 with no options for $58k fair deal?, Is Sync worth the price?

Also i have an stock Boss currently, which i love but will be trading in, should i hold on to it and look for better deals?

Please let know your thoughts.

Thanks,
Hari

Stay away from the 2016. Those are going to nose dive in value due to the transmission and differential cooler fiasco.

Find the car with the color and options that you really want. It should be all about getting the most enjoyment out of the vehicle that you buy. If your not going to track the car it won't matter if it's a 2015/2016 or a 2017. If you plan to use this as a DD or weekend car the Sync 3 is worth it. I have a 2016 Tech Pack and it is an amazing car, has been the perfect car for me. I have 13K miles on it any I autocross and track it. I have had no issues with my car. Although I am planning to get more serious with it this year, so I have installed a diff cooler and am currently working on installing the trans cooler, only because this car will see some hard track time at Road America.

Buy a 2016 Track Pack or GT350R only - stay away from any "Tech Pack" if you want to track the car.

I wouldnt pay anywhere near sticker for a used car. I bet a loaded '17 model trade-in is $52K-$53K. '16 models even less. Probably $48k-$51K.

Buy second hand... save some money. I bought mine for 56,250 at 2000 miles. First oil change done when I picked it up. Track pack or nothing.

I would get a car with the track pack, either an optioned 16' or any 17'. I did not get the Sync on my 17' as its not a DD and just not worth the 3k to me. I would never use the nav or many of the entertainment options its comes with. Although the screen does look nicer and the toggle switches look cool, but I still passed. After my initial drives with the car I'm not sure I'll even use the base radio! lol
I feel MSRP is a fair price for a new GT350.
