Now that we have gone into the final phases of development for these, I would like to share these new engine drop brackets for 2005+ Mustangs.

Due to BMR being so involved in the performance aftermarket, we get many inquiries for product and also find the need ourselves for various items that may not be available.

These new brackets will come standard as an engine drop configuration. To run stock or even higher than stock engine height, you will simply shim between this mount and the OEM or aftermarket engine mount system.

Below are some key benefits:

-Works with OEM Engine Mounts for an engine drop without NVH Increase
-Lowers Center of Gravity for better handling
-Provides more durability for 1000+HP race applications
-Works with OEM, and Aftermarket Mounts if you need more adjustability
-
Provides more clearance for custom exhaust applications
-Provides more hood clearance for select supercharger applications

Below are some pre-production photos. Production photos, as well as pricing and availability will be posted soon.

Nice idea!

Though I guess these are an addition and nothing is removed, so extra weight?

Still very nice indeed, because I would lower my engine but the NVH increase for me is not tolerable.

These are a replacement for the OEM engine mount stands/brackets.

There is a weight increase, but after many different designs we feel more comfortable using super heavy duty material and adding a small amount of weight.

Niiiice.

Do they add/reduce clearance? Hard to tell from the pictures but it looks like the vertical bracing comes out further than the stock part. Could be an illusion of the picture.

Reason I ask is ensure there are no possibility of running into issues with other aftermarket parts. For some reason, my brand of headers seems to not play nice with others. :D

Ah very nice!

So no real weight penalty then. :)

So how much do they drop engine and how much do they cost?

110% no NVH increase guaranteed?

Any improvement in shifting from the lowering?

Seeing as how you're replacing one solid piece with another, I would not expect an increase in NVH. Now if you're replacing a soft rubber bushing with poly or solid, I would say so...but the thing that is being replace is also solid.

How difficult and time consuming would self install on jack stands be?
