I have a '15 EcoBoost Premium with the optional factory 20" wheels...

I'm was informed today that the 20" wheel package includes additional chassis reinforcement bracing...

If this is true...can someone please clarify the differences?

Thanks!

Strut tower brace that's not included on any other non-PP coupes.

Yep. Look for a black brace going from tower behind engine to firewall and on to other tower.

On a side note this chassis is so rigid I get a rear wheel off the ground when angling into a steep drive. Awesome. :headbang:

Why do the 20's need the extra bracing? Is there any other bracing with this option?

Very interesting...

I just read a post indicating the 20" wheel package includes an extra "K-brace" under the nose of the vehicle...possibly the same reinforcements as the PP vehicles...but I think the PP vehicles have an additional shock tower brace that goes across the top of the engine bay...

So it appears the 20" wheel packages have a cowl brace that ties into both front shock towers...and an extra stiffing brace under front of the vehicle...

None of this seems to be covered in the factory Mustang brochures...or I just missed the info when I reviewed the brochures...
