Just got confirmation from @FordService on Twitter on the performance pack offsets:

Ford Service @FordService Follow Hi again! 'Stangs have a 5 x 114.3mm bolt pattern; the offset for the Perf Pckg wheels is 19 x 9.0x 45mm & 19x 9.5x 52.5mm ...

There are no special considerations for the 19x9.0 wheels & performance brakes. Hope that helps! ^SL

From the PRI write up I just posted elsewhere.

One thing I can confirm from sticking my head under the S550 rear fenders is there appears to be a large amount of extra room inside the rear fenders for more tire width. This S550 at PRI had some optional 20" wheels (apparently the 20x9" wheel that you can opt on most models, over the 18x8" and 19x9" wheels that come with some packages?) mounted with 265/35/20 tires.

The wheels were pushed out to the "bleeding edge" of the fender lips, and the tire to fender gaps were very small - neither of which will likely make it to the production model. It is rare for an OEM car, especially a Mustang, to have a "stance" and wheel fitment that looks this good. But fear not - there was at least 3 or 4 inches of extra inboard wheel room out back, meaning... our coveted 18x12" rear wheel might once again fit the back of a Mustang, just like we managed to do on the S197 (using every trick in the book!).

It's hard to be sure but from that pic, it looks like those wheels clear those brakes with a decent amount of room to spare - unlike the current stock Brembo wheels that just barely clear with a few millimeters to spare. If so, good news. It hopefully means that a much wider selection of aftermarket lower-offset wheels will fit.

Does anyone know what the offsets are, primarily for the following wheels:
Performance Package:
front, 19 x 9.0-in. 255/40R,
rear, 19 x 9.5-in. 275/40R Y summer

Hey TopNotch...I think it would be helpful to add pictures of all the wheels available in this Sticky....now that I think we have data for all of them? I'm a bit confused with all the dizzying array of options out there :-)

There are photos of these, along with another 19" version, in this thread.

Do we have specs on offset/backspacing/lug-pattern/etc yet?

Lug pattern is the same. Offset/backspacing info won't be published by Ford but will have to be measured once the car is available.

From my limited understanding of this... The 19x9 is about half an inch wider than the 19x8.5? Meaning the latter would fit just fine on a car built for the former?

If so, what do you think the chances are that one could order the 50th package wheels as an 'accessory' or spare part? I need two sets of rims on my EB (summer and winter tyres) was thinking the 19x8.5 would be cheaper and nice dr winter :)

Width is only one part of the equation when determining wheels that fit. The important dimension that isn't often measured is brake caliper clearance and that is specific to each and every wheel design. The 19x8.5 wheels from the previous model for example do not fit over the Brembo brakes where the 19x9 wheels were installed because of the larger brake calipers.

Availablility of accessory wheels won't be known until the car goes on sale.
