Wait a minute? You can just swap in a Sync 3 unit into a Sync 2 car and it will work? I did not think this could be done. I have a 2015 GT Premium with Sync 2. If I swapped this in I would suddenly have Sync 3 and all of my functions (Radio/HVAC/Steering Controls/Etc.) would work?

What would it take to install this in a base 2015 GT?

I am interested in this. I am doing some research and it looks like I'd have to add an additional GPS wire. I'm reading the SYNC 2 uses GPSM and Sync 3 does not. It says that the GPSM must remained plugged in to keep compass functionality.

Any of this sound familiar?

If all I have to do it add a GPS module/wire then I might buy this off you.

Sorry misread your reply earlier....you'd need to unplug the GPSM as it'll affect the compass and it won't be used anymore

Here's a pic I took a long time ago when the unit was installed on my car, and I only use PayPal so you're protected

Ok. Did you have to do any programming? I know you need these units programmed to be able to have them work with your car. Did you buy from OEM solutions? I'll pick it up right now if you answer my questions.

Thank you,
Mindaugas

You don't need it programmed to work as it's a mustang unit (you only need to program a unit if you're installing one from a different car model like Escape or Edge etc.), I got it from a local guy

Ok that was what I thought. Are you located in the UAE? How much would shipping cost to 60467? Thank you.
