Opinion on what color to powder coat OEM wheels!

I'm getting my 20 inch oem wheels powdercoate matte black over the weekend. I'll post some pics an maybe give u an idea on how they might look

Did you ever get the oem wheels powder coated?

Nope. Figured I would save up some cash and go with some aftermarket wheels to reduce a lot of weight. I'm thinking about trying out some VS Forged wheels.

Does anyone here know anything about VS Forged? I've only seen like one mustang with them so far... Priced competitively for fully forged wheels. I'd do a dark bronze on them. I've had my roof wrapped black since I last posted on this thread.

Very interested in the newest addition, the VS10 wheel. I would go with a dark bronze (see my photoshops below). Thoughts?

We have good taste lol, I have the same exact mustang. I want to wrap my roof and spoiler next along with tint. Eventually paint my calipers red too

Very nice! I love the white/red/black combo which is why I decided to wrap my roof and get the red 5.0 emblem/red calipers. I also tinted my windshield a bit

In love with your car! What percent tint did you do on everything? I was thinking about doing 30% on windshield, and 5% on everything else. Did you use G2 paint for your calipers?

Thanks man appreciate it! And personally I wouldn't recommend that tint combo, that's actually the exact setup I had on my previous BMW 3 series and it was DARK. Might depend on where you live and what hours you normally drive but I was pulled over twice (ticketed once) exclusively for the illegal tint.

I have 50% on the windshield and 15% on all the windows for the stang. Classy and dark enough to give it that spaceship look from the front when its cloudy outside. 30% windshield was like wearing sunglasses outside at night lol.

As for the calipers I used a guy I know who owns a body shop, he used inferno red car body paint on them after a good cleaning and prep. They've held nicely for over a year now.

Nope no spacers on them but they would probably look better with some! I'm going aftermarket anyway tho
