What's Your Profession?

I'll turn 46 in a couple weeks. I'm the Senior Mechanic for Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue, EVT Master certified in Fire apparatus and Ambulances, ASE master certified in automotive and medium/heavy trucks. I worked at a Ford Dealership for 19 years as the lead tech and Service Manager, Ford Senior Master service tech. I've had more Mustangs over the years than I can count. Currently have my 2015 GT and a 1999 GT I gave to my 15 year old son.

There aren't many of us, it's a small profession, I'd say about 3700 in the nation so most haven't heard of it.

Nice, Buddy of mine and I started working here about 2 years ago (he also drives a 2010 mustang). Seen a couple 2015s popping up on base now as well as a ton of older year models. Theres a CO Ecoboost PP riding around, dont know if thats anyone on here.

Nice! I have probably called and complained at you once in my career. =D, I am a Cloud Engineer at Ultimate Software down in Florida.

Not as impressive as a lot of people here, but it's what I decided as a career because I actually enjoy doing it lol

65 year old retired "Bullshit Artist". Put myself through school by trapping alligators and building board roads in the oil patch. Found out that school beat the hell out of gators and mosquitos in south Louisiana's Atchafalaya Swamp. School had girls and beer, so got BS/Geography, BS/Political Science, JD/Law. Didn't want to practice law, so I thought it would be fun to be paid to take people to lunch for a living. I became a "lobbyist" for the a major energy company. .Only problem is I had to interact with politicians for forty years...Now that's why I refer to my profession as BS Artist. So I'm certifiable "OilFieldTrash" and feel glad to have been such a lucky guy. For 50years I've had Mustangs...10 of them to be exact. I've loved 'EM, raced them, and built them. Glad that I found this Mustang6G Forum and great to wrestle with some who post here...just like those gators from ages ago...and they could really give a guy a real "Butt Hurt". LOL.
