GM has always been about making them in hoards, thats why the resale market is so low. With any car that is made in bulk, its best to buy at the end of the run, easier to get and at a much better price.
If they end up making 10,000+ of this GT500, they should be fairly easy to get.
The GT350 has been holding strong because of the many BMW and Porche fans that it has won over. The GT500 most lilkely wont pull a lot of those buyers in. Depends on the reviews I suppose, but most of the guys that like great driving cars prefer N/A - IMO
Well said Jim and as we all know Ford produced almost 11,000 GT500's in the 2007MY let alone ~47,000 GT500's over the 8 year production run.

Those were lifted the middle of last year. Hence all the new records lately (Huracan Performante, GT2RS). I doubt the ZR1 will be able to touch either of those times.
Interesting. So the limits came in right as the One:1 Koenigsegg was testing and then were removed once they had all been sold?

Word on the knowledgeable street is the '19 monster will cometh, and an even more powerful and sophisticated one in '21. Both on S550.

Interesting. When you said sophisticated I thought hybrid, but then you said S550.

Sounds like a new boss/gt350 will come for ‘19/20 and finally the big 800hp model for ‘21.

Ford obviously wants a swan song for the S550 chassis which makes me worried for the S650. Oh well nothing can last forever.

I see it the other way around. Who knows but Ford, right?!? lol :headbonk:
I see the big power/torque car coming first, then the track car with more power/torque coming later. (Just my feeling/opinion.)

Thanks .
But give us a bone man.I had almost given up and was thinking of "settling " on an 18 GT with Roush supercharger/warranty......but that would just be a "poor mans's" Roush really .
....But it would allow me hold unto the GT 350(was considering a Whipple ).

If the GT 500 is going to be a "monster " as you say I will wait .I am sure it will be more $$$$ (and more car )than a supercharged 18 so I doubt I would be able to hold in to the GT 350 as well .

It definitely will be way more than a Roush supercharged '18 GT.
Don't forget to figure in ADM as well. That's what worries me, and the limited availability. :eyebulge: :headbonk:
