Brembos saved me from an idiot in a C7 Vette

Was just driving back to my office from a meeting and I was going through an intersection and some careless idiot in a blue C7 blew through a stoplight and came extremely close to T-boning me.

I was pretty shocked at first, I hit the brakes and of course my car stalled out. He put his hand up through his open roof to show he was sorry. I opened up my window and loudly shared my opinion of his poor driving skills. My wrist and neck actually are sore now from the hard braking I had to do, those Brembos definitely just saved my baby.

Just had to share :shrug:

I thought those guys only drove mustangs :lol:

My Brembos have saved me a couple times as well. I don't think I'll ever own another car without big brakes because of how much I love them in my car.

Haha I know in the back of my head I was like what will people think when they see a blue mustang and a blue vette smashed up in the middle of an intersection:doh:

I was wondering what someone else who had the 401a no PP thought when moving to the FRPP track handling pack?

Should probably thank your tires more than your brakes.

My brembos saved me from rear ending a guy. I was following him about 3 car lengths back (thankfully) and a light turned yellow. He slammed on his brakes and I didn't notice at first because all his brake lights were burnt out/not working.

I came within a foot of his car. I wasn't too mad but got out to let him know (thinking maybe he didn't know his lights weren't working). Told the guy and he didn't even care, rolled his window up on me. Then I got pissed lol...

All my Brembos ever do for me is give me a bunch of brake dust.

Glad you are ok... but don't forget thanking those tires... they probably did a lot more of a job with the stoppage..

This. The 6 pots are great but the tire grip is the limiting factor in stopping distances.
