I really think it's the extra RPM here after carefully looking at it, not worried i won't be spinning mine near that high.
I Really think its just inaccurate gauge. Don't fret it. The car runs great and I feel it is completely safe. If it was actually pushing 13-14 psi I'm positive it would have made well over 700.

nice numbers. How is the AFR? What about timing degrees on octanium?

After reviewing the datalog a little closer I was actually closer to 20-21 degrees throughout the entire pull after the 23 degrees from 3-4k. so from 4k up I was averaging 20-21 degrees of timing.

Lambda was between .78-.82

AFR was 11.7-12.3

So fuel was plenty safe, a little rich but for a cookie cutter tune I surely cant complain with the power it made. Actually surprised at how much timing the whipple tune allows.

Hey man im telling u and i dont care what any of these other guys tell u,your boost is high because u have convertors, most guys on her dont have convertors, guage could be a little off but u was at 14 psi on one of those pulls. Also know just because you had 13 dont mean u would have been over 700 hp.This is one of those time wheir more boost doen not always equate to more power, convertors and cot protections take power away.If u took the convertors off i QUARNTEE your boost would drop a LITTLE and u would make MORE power even with lower boost.Boost quages in dynos are pretty accurate unlike our cars if not using a mechanical guage.

Made 687/525.

Stage 2 Whipple, 3.625 pulley bone stock motor minus opg, ts, and ATI damper. Exhaust is all stock too minus resonator delete H pipe.
93 octane+octanium.
Very nice !
That looks like Dustin /Automotive specialists dyno in Noblesville .
Is five liter Ken?
I think Dustin 's boost readings may be 1-2 psi(or more )higher than expected.

For example I was expecting 19 -20 psi (like my gauge-which may peak at 21 ) from my KB combo -3.5 pulley/20 % OD/long tubes but saw more like 22-23(with peak of 24 on some pulls at 7500) .

Why the hell is everyone so wrapped up in boost numbers? Boost is an arbitrary number as far as im concerned. The better the vehicle flows the less boost everything else being equal. Id rather have a setup that makes 800hp on 15 psi rather than a setup that makes 800hp on 25 psi.

ANY boosted engine should be monitoring knock, air fuel ratio, and timing before boost. Who gives a crap what the boost is if it ends up knocking or has crap AFR.

Anybody who takes that boost curve at what it says is lying to themselves. Look at how it bounces all over the place. Clearly not correct.

Nevertheless, good numbers.

That's where it was.
Dustin did say his boost readings were a little off. I'm not worried about it though, as the car is making great power, runs phenomenal, and appears to be doing it all safely.
