I installed a P300 sub a few months ago and it works great. However I would like for the speakers to be louder, I'm always maxing out my volume. It's not very loud

The guy that installed my sub said that the speakers are "pretty good" and recommended something that was about $600 and would bring the stereo to life. I'm really not sure what he was talking about and that was months ago.

I'd like to do this as cheap as possible. What are my options?

You need to upgrade the speakers and add a 4 channel. You might be able to get it done for $600 depending on the speakers and amp used.

Only thing I can think of is that he was going to use a LOC to convert the speaker-level signals running to the speakers to a line level signal and feed that signal to a 4-channel amp. Then using the stock wiring, run that now-amplified signal to the front doors and rear deck speakers. Would definitely make a difference.

If you can, contact the tech and ask what he was planning to do...
