Haven't received it yet...think I saw a email saying it shipped yesterday.
I also purchased the new Edelbrock Victor II intake manifold. Will be doing both at same time...plus Iowa is not Florida, sub-zero temps and snow/ice. It wont be out for a few months. ,, yes I'm having withdrawls and its killing me!! :kickrock:

Silly warm climate people.. haha

How much boost are you going to run? I'm already hitting 11psi+ and not sure I want to go up to 12+ by adding this..

I don't mind but I also don't know. Beefcake hooked me up with 11psi on my setup which is exactly what I had asked for. Are the PC pulleys marked or do you have to measure?

Please don't take this the wrong way, I don't think I have ever heard someone say they don't want to add boost and power.

They should have a number etched into them.

This works on the D1 as is as long as you have an HO kit.

Yeah it should be etched onto the pulley.

Sorry D1 stage 2 kit. Previous car had a Ho kit.

I'm comfortable running 11psi, of course I'd like more power but not at the cost of taxing the motor further.

So it won't fit with stage 2 intercooler?
The intercooler is not the issue, it just does not fit with the 8-rib stage 2 belt system. As long as it runs a 6-rib it will fit.

Ahh I got you!!! You have a ton of room to go before you have to worry about taxing the motor any.

11psi seemed to be a pretty repeated recommended boost level in talks with several knowledgeable individuals on here. How much boost are some of you other guys running on your setups? I don't really fear building the transmission and I do plan on going with the DSS axles and driveshaft soon. Breaching 700whp on pump gas would be pretty sweet (though I'm sure it would do that now that it isn't 90 degrees outside).

Good to know!
At what boost level does the 6-rib start to slip?

Do you have any solution for the 8-rib stage 2 coming?

I was planning on Stage 2 kit with D1S head and this inlet pipe upgrade on the stock 8PSI pulley as Lund have told me I'd make close to 10psi on the 8psi pulley due to the larger intercooler, D1S head and your inlet pipe upgrade. They said it would drive great and be hugely efficient while putting as little stress on the motor and the kit would have fantastic room to grow.
