i really don't see them raising the base price after all the press and talk about value at 50k. i think we are seeing a 50k track pack gt350.

Exactly what I was thinking, 15-16 Track Pack owners will now have a base model. Early adopter tax.

I doubt it,I think they removed the magenride from base cars to say the msrp was 50k . So far <10% off all cars are base models with no slow down in Orders and ADMs galore, no reason for ford not to bank that money when the market has already proved at 56k the track pack is a bargain with no issue commanding the price.

Not to mention every magazine review has been a track pack or R. Base will be 55-56, electronics 2k extra, convience likely 3k extra or so

(Assuming this is correct)

The sub $50k base was just first year marketing hype. The base price will be the current Track Pack price.

You don’t want to know
The MSRP will go up, just like Chevy did with the Corvette and Dodge did with the Hellcat and on and on and on for hot-selling vehicles.

And everyone - '15, '16 or '17 (if the doc from the OP is real) - has a base GT 350 or GT 350 R, with or without option packages. Track Package and Tech Package are not separate models. And for 2017, the base cars will just have more standard equipment.

This is how the packages should have been for the 350.

When is pricing released?
Should be announced by the time the 2017 Order Banks open. Likely April 4th (confirmed for regular Mustangs, but the date may differ for GT350's).

Pricing may depend on the 1LE. They may be waiting to see how that rolls out, and then respond competitively.

Welp, guess my base will be extra rare now... Kinda confused why they didn't do this from the start as that way they could have avoided the R&D on a bunch of parts.

How will this effect the pricing on unsold 2016 GT350s and the resale value of the already sold 2016s as well?

I read from somewhere that there are about 58 Base models ordered (don't know if it is accurate). I guess is it very rare... But I kind of want the 2017 model... I feel the need for trans/ diff coolers... Too late...

Given they more or less know the trans/diff cooler is needed they should retrofit all prior GT350s with them. Or at least offer to do it at costs of parts.

It sounds like the non-track pack cars are in need of them now that reports of cars going into limp mode are coming out. Should have been standard feature.
