Checked the oil. I seem to be consuming noticeably more oil. Not sure if it's the cold weather causing it to take longer to warm up or if it's because I've literally just been driving to/from work with some highway miles mixed in. Could also be the oil breaking down a bit and thinning out and being more readily consumed.

Installed some Redline Hood struts. (Thanks Sean!) Put the old prop rod up for now.

Finally got all this stuff on. The track attack got me in gear to get her off the lift...just in time for cold and rain lol.

Looking good! Let us know how you like the trans fluid. Mine can be notchy when it's cold on the 1 - 2 shift.

had one in the GT and now in this...instant shifting bliss and worth the forearm scrathes to reach that 10mm bolt. if you're ever considering a driveshaft, that would be the time to put it in:headbonk:

i didn't find many reviews on it for the 350...but the reviews are awesome for the MT-82, so i figured why not. as soon as it quits raining i'm literally gonna joyride for hours

is the MGW shifter something I can take to a local performance shop and trust them to install properly - or do I need to go to someone specifically familiar with MGW and s550s?

i'd think so, there's 2 videos they can refer to on the website. one is the install (20 minutes long) and the other is a short couple minutes video on how to set the lockout pin

I live 30 minutes north of Toledo in Michigan, Bring it up and we can do both of them sometime. I put in a Steeda Tri Ax into my GT so know first hand how to get it done. No problem at all.

Same issue here. I plan to swap fluid this weekend, I'll post back here to let you know how it goes.

I spent an hour or so tonight torquing all of the bolts on the valve covers... Most of them were pretty loose. Sheesh...
