I'm looking forward to getting the GT or souped up hybrid they come out with for the S650. This one should be paid off then too.

I bought my 2017 never owning a Mustang in my life. I just don't think a Mustang GT is anywhere close to a $50,000 car. I already knew I liked the Mustang when I test drove a 2016 GT Premium with the performance pack. I custom ordered a brand new 2017 exactly how I wanted it and got an amazing deal on it to boot.

The same Mustang GT spec'd how I have my 2017 is close to $47,000. Exactly what I knew was going to happen. It's simply too much money for what they offer. I can make my 2017 easily better for still less money with a tune, some bolt ons, and new wheels/tires. Besides, I really like Grabber Blue too.

No option in the poll for me ... I keep my Stangs 5 or 6 years and I've had my 2016 only 15 months.

If I were in the market, I could live with the changes. Not too keen on the price hike if I were to want something equivalent to what I've got now.

To get a Base EB equipped the way mine is I'd now have to get the 101A Package. I like the base dash I've got & simple HVAC (same as 2018 100A), but if I want the Power Seats and mandatory (for me) Driver Lumbar you must order 101A ... out the door car will be over $2300 more than I paid for my '16 and will be without the $475 Over-the-Top Stripes; so really closer to $2800 more.

What extras would I be getting for that $2800 ??
* Electronic Line Lock
* Launch Control
* Nicer looking Exhaust Tips (Rolled)
* Hood Vents
* LED Head Lamps & Daytime Running Lamps
* LED Front Park/Turn Lamps
Plus 101A Features:
*9 Speaker Stereo & Amp
* Dual Zone Auto Temp Control
* Reverse Sensing System
* Selectable Driving Modes & the "Cool Toggles"
* Sirius XM
* 8" LCD Display and all other Sync 3 features

Also, the formerly std. FOG LAMPS are NLA on base EB, must go Premium to get them. But seeing that they are no longer a stand-alone lamp assembly, just inserted in the inner ends of the turn signal lamp assy's, I can't believe they are as functional as the '15-17 Fog Lamps.

Above worth $2800 or 12% more than I paid for my 2016 ?? NOPE !!

Will keep the '16 indefinitely.
After the warranty expires, future mods will be limited to mild suspension upgrades and a Lund tune.

All of the 2018 mechanical/performance and technology upgrades are great.
Decent HP/TQ increase.
Quad tip exhaust looks really awesome, but not impressed with the tone/sound
quality...prefer Borla.
Would have been all over over a '19 N/A CPC 5.2 Mach 1, however....I cannot get on board with the restyled front end.
I have seen it in person, and it will not grow on me. I will not "learn" to like it.

If the S650 is smaller, lighter with less front overhang, displays styling that truly "knocks it out of the ballpark" and offers a N/A, S/C or Ecoboost V8...it may replace the '08 GT.

Not ready for a hybrid yet.

"Ordered or will order because all of the above (1-6) except post comments. "

I wasn't in a position to buy a new car until now (this winter). I have no interest in buying used or getting less than exactly what I want. (I buy cars infrequently*). Since the timing is right for the new model year with all the changes, it's a no brainer for me.

*actually, I buy a lot of things "infrequently". Phones, tvs, computers etc. I tend to buy the latest and greatest at the time I'm ready to purchase, then keep for a long time. Works for me. Some people like to trade up every few years and that works for them. I like to hold onto things longer.

Keeping my '16 to avoid more car payments if I go with an' 18. With only a torque upgrade for the '18, it isn't worth it. I do like the digital dash because I work with technology on a daily basis. I like all the customizations.

Not buying an '18 because I just bought a '15 almost 3 years ago. I keep a car until someone totals it for me or the damned wheels fall off and I cannot see putting another dime into it.
But I will say, I personally like the new styling, love the new hood and profile and I've gone apeshit over the Orange Fury paint. New variable exhaust is a hoot too! Lots of great upgrades, even if you don't go Performance Pack.

After I test drive the new manual I will make my decision to order. I hated the clutch in my 13 and 15. If they smoothed it out and made it more linear I will gladly order another.

Interested in seeing test results when media reviews are in, but so tempted to pull the trigger, I love the look of orange fury.

I love my 2016 and have no wanting what so ever to upgrade (if that's what ya wanna call it) to a 2018. I have no wanting for the extra horses now. I don't care for the digital dash. Active exhaust does not interest me. And I still have a strong dislike for the new-look front. I think I will wait until 2nd or 3rd year of s650. And even then, I will probably still keep my 2016. :D

To everyone who is planning on buying 2018..... I sincerely hope you totally enjoy your cars and that you will not be disappointed. :cheers:

Interested but I am too upside down on my 2016. S650 will be here by the time I resolve that matter.
