A not-so-insignificant bit of this is tires, too. The PS4S will hook up quite a bit better than P-zeros (unless they've been line locked and are basically goo).

I said 460-470 so many times.....

Should see times in low 12s
agreed...i was saying that ford will not cross 460 mark.. reason they have gt350 at 525 and they will never put that car in shit.

I am litle disappointed at the hp/tq but yes... now bar is raised fo s650

peak numbers may only indicate 25 more than now but the torque under the curve maybe much higher overall than the regular 5.0

I pretty much called this except I was saying 460/410 so not bad at all. 460 is attractive as a buyer in the market for American because it sounds faster than the Camaro to someone who doesn't know the full figures, etc.

If it can get an extra .4/.5 from the 0-60, then it should be able to put it in the very low 12's, high 11's possibly with the auto. But those times probably also reflect running on better tires than the 15-17. Marketing never gets specific where the time deference were made.

Definitely good for the new buyers but certainly not enough to make me considering switching up.

Order guide will be posted shortly
Do larger dealers get orders delivered faster? I have a smaller dealer near me that I have visited and like, but if I can get an order delivered faster by going to a large dealer I might consider it.

Wow, Ford did a great job!

I wonder how big the difference 0-60 is without PP and then without the auto.
I hope the low time isn't a lot of drag/line lock magic that you don't feel on the street, but obviously some of it is.

Exciting!

I'm sure if I add Michelin PSS instead of the crappy Pirelli's to my 2017, I'll get a faster 0-60 time too.

Besides, we all know this 0-60 time is with an automatic. Lets see 0-60 with the manual!

460/420, mild improvement. Definitely due to the DI and higher compression. I'm just glad they finally gave the numbers so everyone won't flip out about it.

I'm sure Lund will get 480 out of it with no problems.
