YOU NEED TO BE CLOSE TO THE SAME TIRE HEIGHT FRONT AND REAR, OR YOU'LL HAVE ISSUES WITH TRACTION CONTROL, ABS AND SO ON.

I had considered it ... wait something's wrong, just sec ...

I HAD CONSIDERED IT BUT I THINK THE DESIGN OF THE MUSTANG, WITH THE FRONT AND REAR BEING VERY SIMILAR HEIGHTS, DOESN'T LEND ITSELF WELL TO THE MISMATCHING DIAMETERS VS. SOMETHING LIKE A CORVETTE WITH THE WEDGE SHAPE.

IF YOU WANT TO CREATE A SLIGHT RAKE, JUST DO A FRONT AND REAR WITH THE SAME PROFILE BUT A WIDER REAR - THIS WILL RESULT IN A SLIGHTLY THICKER SIDEWALL ON THE REAR AND CREATE THE EFFECT OF THE REARS BEING BIGGER.

Just FYI, I ran 255/35/19 up front and 275/40/19 in the rear and the car never had the ABS or traction light come on. From what I've seen in the tire calculators online, the front where 26" tall tires and the rear are 27.7" tall tires. So if your wheels combo have a difference of 1 3/4" or less you should be OK.

Not noticing any abnormal tire wear, but I only drive the car on the weekends so it doesn't see many miles. I just bought MRR M600's 20 x 10 fronts +35 offset, 20 x 11 rear, +50 offset. I don't have any clearance/rubbing issues anywhere, and didn't have to mess with the alignment. I'm also lowered on an Eibach Pro-Kit.

So stoked, I have just about the same setup going on (satin black on the M600 finish, and 305/35-20s in the rear).

tonyd1 you can easily do this I've done about 5-6 sets like this with the double staggered setup.

Looks really good and gives a nice oldschool rake to the car.

Is there a ratio to maintain when you do this? For example, since the wheel in the back is 1" larger, do you keep the overall tire diameter 1" larger in the back?

Paul, have a pictures?, also when I am ready, I'll contact you to help me put a set up together just aslong as it doesn't ruin my rear end and effect my speedo to bad, you can help with the caculations on that stuff, thanks brother-Tonyd1:cheers:

Proper tire sizing really, so for instance I have done a 265/40/19 & 295/35/20 combo which was a set of wheels shared between a GT500 and a S550 GTPP for the same owner.
