Integrated Turn Signals deleted from the Hood Vents on GT :(
Because that's what Ford Marketing said was a big request from consumers...kinda want to know what consumers they polled because it sure wasn't anyone on here.

Still waiting for the PP on the auto...Euro gets it and completely ignored here in the USA to protect the manual sales.

This sucks. No Magneride or Active Exhaust option. Camaro SS offers both. Ford is getting lazy again and hoping sales will continue against Camaro SS and ZL1 because they are too damn cheap to give buyers what they want and won't reign in dealers charging OBSCENE ADM's on GT350's. Ford says, "Don't Worry, Be Happy."

Not everyone wants a track car for daily driving either. The active exhaust option is a huge gimmick that would be replaced by an aftermarket exhaust anyway.

Magnaride would have been a worthwhile upgrade!

Not everyone wants an aftermarket exhaust and they just want it from factory with the options. NPP is not a gimmick it's great to get the best of both worlds, something you cannot get with an AE exhaust.

Look Chevy at least is trying and coming out with all sorts of goodies...I'm not seeing much effort at all from the Mustang division other then in their performance area...leaving the GT kinda languishing for some nice updates. Could have at least given a HP upgrade or something.

So will it or will it not have integrated hood turn signals? Lol. It'd be cool for us 16 guys to have a unique feature like that.

*edit, ok I see it was removed. Nice.

Why is Kona Blue "deleted" as it was not an option on the 16's anyways?

I look at it as one less thing to go wrong without turn signals in the vents. It's a unique feature for the 16's, but it doesn't serve much of a purpose otherwise.

Hmm, that is an odd one! As we know, that was only ever available on the 1964 50 Year Limited Edition (along with Wimbledon White).

As for MagneRide.....Active Exhaust......etc.......hopefully we'll all be happy this time next year when the '18MY details hit. I suspect the facelifted car will feature all this and more

Now if we could just get them to delete the fugly hood vents.

Not surprised they deleted the signals. They really made Ford look dumb when nobody but a 7 footer in a convertible with the top down could see the passenger side hood signal light.

Interesting:

No more 051A option for coupes.

No more hood signals on GTs (already mentioned)

Everyone gets the same (50 state) emissions systems.

Windows, Power – Front One-touch-Up/Down with Global
Open
(bold is new - refers to rear windows in vert?)

Phasing out the V6 probably and forcing more people in the EB. Wonder how many people optioned for a V6 with 51A over a base EB?

This site is always the first place to learn about anything 6th Gen mustang related. It's authentic.
Well, now there's two 2017 Mustang Order Guides posted; one dated 04/04/16 from FMC of Canada; one dated 04/11/16 from Ford Division. Content differs in the two. Which, if either, are authentic? And if authentic, why isn't this information known by other sources (e.g., Ford website, Ford dealers, major auto magazines, etc.)?
