Please feel free to add anything you know the differentiates the LE from regular GT PP. This is not for discussion of opinion, just hard facts. Such as:

Wheels: Polished Aluminum 50 Anniversay
Brakes: High Series Police
Interior: Cashmer
Door Frame Molding (Bright)
Equipment package 14 (???)

Serial Number XXXX/1964
Engine Code for P8R OBC1S (different tune? parts?)
TPMS Sensor

Different part number for 50th anniversary model motor in fordparts.com list.

That's jives with the different commodity code you list above.

Let's post up the documentation also so the proof is there. I know it's all in the other threads. I'll have time Saturday to move it all to here if no one else can.

The BIGGEST difference between an LE and a regular GT with performance pkg. is the transmission. The ONLY way to obtain a GT with performance pkg. and an automatic transmission is to purchase a 50 Year Limited Edition.

The 2015 Mustang will not be sold with an auto. trans and a PP otherwise. (I have to admit, this was one of my primary reasons for going with an A/T - aside from my back & knee problems, lol).

Also, below I've listed the info. from the "50 Year Limited Edition Hero Card" which my dealer sent to me when I placed the deposit for my LE on the Mustang's 50th Birthday (April 17th, 2014):

At the top of this page it lists the upgrades which include the Performance Pkg. but the bottom half lists info. that is specific to the LE's only...

Unique 50 Year Limited Edition content:

o Available in Wimbledon White or Kona Blue
o Chrome Trim on the side glass, tri-bar taillamps, and pony corral grille
o Tri-pane glass (louvered) rear quarter windows
o 50 Years Limited Edition door sill plates
o Aluminum trim instrument panel applique with an axel spin finish
o 50 Year Limited Edition, serialized instrumental panel badge
o Cashmere stitched leather-wrapped steering wheel
o Two-tone cashmere and black leather upholstery with the Mustang 50 Years Logo on the front seat backs
o Contrasting cashmere stitching on the instrumental panel, shifter boot, center armrest, door inserts, and seats
o Premium looped carpet floor mats with cashmere sticking
o Owner’s guide with leather portfolio
o Faux 50 Years Limited Edition gas cap badge on rear applique

Does that say "hinged" for the 1/4 glass? Has this been proven as a fact? I thought SVTFreak said no - Please tell me I'm wrong!

Nope.

Also, the door sill plates are just mustang.

Unfortunately these items are not LE only. They are also on the 50th AP.

The only things on that list unique to the LEs are:
o Available in Wimbledon White or Kona Blue
o Tri-pane glass (louvered) rear quarter windows
o 50 Year Limited Edition, serialized instrumental panel badge
o Two-tone cashmere and black leather upholstery with the Mustang 50 Years Logo on the front seat backs
o Owner’s guide with leather portfolio
o PP with Auto

From the outside, it's only Wheels and Glass, correct?
