Ford's option packaging decisions are questionable and frustrating.
Overall price points for all Mustang models and desirable options are surprisingly higher than expected.
I beleive that Ford's pricing strategy is motivated by a desire to compete with Camaro prices and to move the Mustang globally upmarket.
Unless a base type model is desired, the top performance level Mustang with the most desirable options (GT) is no longer affordable for the average Joe/Jane.
After the new model introduction and related hype passes, sales may not meet expectations...?
On the other hand:
You've got to pay to play.
Increased performance and related technology never comes cheap.
My '16 is a keeper.
