Well...I suppose it's time I compile a parts list for this monster. Compliments to the chef, Nick Wilson, for putting in most of the work on this bad boy

Fabulous Fords Forever 2017

Hey guys!

I just wanted to share this awesome video my Need4Speed Motorsports team did from this past year's 32nd Annual Fabulous Fords Forever car show. An awesome day with tons of badass Fords and great friends! you can see me and my previous s550 a couple times if you know what to look for ;)

That's right, gloss black. I'm going full blown Stormtrooper with this monster. But I couldn't just bolt these babies on without doing a little custom touch, now could I? ;)

I've already posted some of these pics on Instagram and had a few guys ask so for those that don't know it's very easy to remove and customize your center caps. The ponies are just held in with small tabs so once you've got your wheels off, remove the o ring and gently depress the tabs on the center caps to push them out of the wheels. Using a flathead screwdriver GENTLY push the ponies out. This allowed me to paint them. Gloss white, obviously for that uniform look. Primed, painted and glossed to match that Oxford White.

Not too shabby eh? Sorry, I'm not Canadian...not that there's anything wrong with Canada but...ok, I'm gonna shut up now...how bout a high res pic?

No, that's not satin black. That would be the mirror finish of our gloss black perfectly reflecting that gorgeous sunset  I'm absolutely in love with these FIVES and could not be happier with the gloss black on White Label. Naturally, fitment is spot on! Only the best from Project6gr Wheels! More photos coming soon so stay tuned!

Thanks fellas! I went out and snagged a few pics last night so there will be new content coming soon. I'm waiting on a holiday sale to pick up a new clutch but also getting another itch to spend more on customizing the car so...

Where is this spot??? let me know next time you go and I'll meet you there or something. I'd love to get some of these type of shots on mine!

Sounds good man! It's at the top of Britain Ave. in San Carlos. I've done some sunset shots up there before with my black one too but you get some nice backgrounds with the view of the Bay below and the rolling hills on the opposite side

Cabron Fibre

White Label already has some carbon on her. And I love the look on oxford white...sigh...I suppose it's high time I add some more of this magical woven material. Did you know that adding carbon fiber to your car not only cuts weight, but also adds strength, adds horsepower, gets you more social media followers, pulls females AND gets you laid?! Too bad it's so darn expensive! :(

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

...ok maybe it doesn't do all those things. But it sure does look good when done right. Enter Farmuh Performance and Modern Muscle Design

I already have MMD's mirror caps and taillight bezels. So to complete the holy triumvirate of unnecessary albeit sexy exterior styling I opted for their foglight bezels as well.

393724_alt7?$mproductios$&wid=810&hei=608.jpg

These don't replace your existing foglight surrounds, but rather stick right on top. They come packaged nicely with more than enough 3M double sided tape to adhere to the car. I've had issues with 3M failing though and didn't wanna lose these babies so I opted to also use a bead of silicone to help promote a more permanent seal.

The install couldn't be easier and I really dig the change

I had the front canards on my previous s550 and loved them. So to add some more of my own personal touches to this new car I hit up Farmuh Performance for another set. To match the rest of the carbon accessories on White Label I had Kyle wrap them in a gloss carbon fiber vinyl. I must say I was very pleased with quality, craftsmanship, and the vinyl matching up with the real carbon on my car.

35804363213_1d3e2249b0.jpg

Quick Install Guide - Farmuh Performance Canards

Step 1 Clean the area...in my case this wasn't necessary as my car is almost always in immaculate shape :D

Step 2 Line up canard on one side. Using masking tape, mark the positioning of the canard as you would like it to sit on the front bumper(Canards have been manufactured to fit OE and Steeda/Air Design front bumpers and are not adjustable so will only fit a certain way. Canards are side specific) Repeat on opposite side and adjust accordingly to get them even on both sides

36444867202_493cb8d523.jpg

Step 3 Make a pilot hole for the bolts. 4 per side. Drill holes into bumper
36613736655_390e4d57f8_z.jpg

36217189850_46fb4e3539_z.jpg

(there's no going back now! Hope you measured and lined em up right LOL)

Step 4 Using the provided hardware, install the protective rubber stopper and canards. Do not overtighten
36475744911_ac333fe40e.jpg

Step 5 Grab a cold beer, step back and admire your handiwork
36613697445_ac10a282e8.jpg

36444832102_e6b949012f.jpg

While doing the first install on my black 50th I had some other projects going as well so the bumper had been removed for the canards. But this time around I just aired up to 115 psi and turned my front wheel in on the side I was working with. The front bolt was a bit hard to reach but it was easier than pulling the whole bumper...not that it's difficult but a lot of people have incidentally broken their bumper tabs removing their fascias and I did not want to risk breaking these tabs and having to go Quick Latch.

Overall I am very pleased with these canards and would recommend them to anyone wanting a little something extra to set you apart from the crowd. Hit up Farmuh Performance for yours!
