Timing Sprocket Issues on 15?????

Unfortunately this problem is real, the 2015 has the weakest sprocket of them all! This is why we developed the Billet lower crank gear, by using a aerospace steel vs powdered metal and increasing the key way cross section we have been able to eliminate this problem.

I would like to see MMR offer a Sprocket/oil pump gear combo complete with all seals, gaskets to complete the install.

Sigh...I just bit the bullet and bought the sprocket and the OPG. Rather have it and have never needed it than not have it and ruin the motor.

Beef suggested MMR sprocket & OPG upgrade when he does my SC. I'm feeling better about the upgrade now. Just waiting on Vortech to deliver now.

Will this upgrade require the engine to be removed, or can this be done with the engine in with minor parts removed? Curious...

it is a pretty in depth job. will take a qualified tech most of a day, if not the entire day.
engine can stay in car.
